What does a Head of Strategy do at Un-titled Lab?

As the Head of Strategy at Un-titled Lab, you are expected to lead our brand strategy team and drive the charge in defining, developing, and delivering strategic solutions for our clients. You’ll be responsible for driving brand vision, guiding our brand strategy teams, and ensuring that every project aligns with client objectives and Un-titled Lab’s branding excellence. Your leadership will shape the strategic direction of projects, from brand positioning and messaging to ensuring that the final deliverables inspire and resonate with your audience.

  1. Lead Strategic Direction
    • Lead the creation of brand strategies that define a clear vision, mission, and positioning for clients in alignment with business goals.
    • Conduct in-depth research to uncover audience insights, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
    • Craft compelling narratives to define brand positioning, purpose, and voice.
  2. Client Partnership
    • Serve as the primary strategic advisor for clients, helping them navigate brand challenges and opportunities.
    • Lead strategic workshops and present findings, strategies, and recommendations to clients.
    • Build strong relationships with clients, ensuring trust and collaboration throughout the process.
  3. Creative Collaboration
    • Partner with design and client management teams to ensure alignment between strategy and execution.
    • Foster a collaborative process that encourages bold ideas and fresh perspectives.
    • Provide feedback and guidance to ensure that deliverables meet strategic objectives.
  4. Team Collaboration & Mentorship
    • Facilitate brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and approaches.
    • Guide and mentor junior strategists, fostering their growth and development.
    • Build and nurture a culture of curiosity and innovation within the strategy team.
  5. Market Research & Insights
    • Oversee qualitative and quantitative research to inform strategic decisions.
    • Use data/insight to identify trends, opportunities, and gaps in the market.
    • Translate complex research findings into actionable strategies and compelling stories.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
