What does a Senior Content Strategist do at Un-titled Lab?
As a Senior Content Strategist, you will be the strategic mastermind behind our content ecosystem, responsible for designing comprehensive content strategies that drive business results across multiple touchpoints. You will lead the development of data-driven marketing strategies, mentor junior team members, and work directly with clients to translate their business objectives into powerful content frameworks. Your role is crucial in ensuring every piece of content serves a strategic purpose and contributes to measurable outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Planning & Research
- Lead comprehensive research initiatives to understand client business objectives, competitive landscape, and market opportunities.
- Develop sophisticated audience personas and customer journey maps based on qualitative and quantitative data.
- Conduct content audits and competitive analyses to identify gaps and opportunities.
- Analyse complex data sets to extract actionable insights and inform strategic decisions.
2. Content Strategy Development
- Design and implement integrated content strategies across multiple channels (digital, social, print, experiential).
- Create strategic frameworks including content pillars, messaging hierarchies, and content pathways.
- Develop content governance models and playbooks to ensure consistency and scalability.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for content initiatives and track performance against goals.
3. Content Planning & Management
- Create comprehensive content calendars and editorial plans that align with business objectives.
- Written content effectively conveys the desired message and aligns with the content pillars.
- Develop content briefs and requirements that guide creative teams in producing high-quality work.
- Collaborate with creative, design, and client service teams to ensure strategic alignment across all deliverables.
4. Performance Analysis and Optimisation
- Monitor and analyse content performance using analytics platforms (Google Analytics, social media analytics, etc.).
- Conduct regular content performance reviews and present findings with strategic recommendations.
- Implement data-driven optimisation strategies to improve content effectiveness and ROI.
- Create performance reports and insights documents that inform future strategy.

Qualifications
- 5+ years of professional experience in Content Strategy, Digital Strategy, or a related role, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven experience in audience research and translating data into content plans.
- Proficiency in designing content funnels and user journeys.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating strategic thinking and measurable results.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, social media analytics tools, etc.).
