"What does a VDO Editor (Mid-Level) do at Un-titled Lab?"
As a VDO Editor (Mid-Level) you'll be the backbone of our visual storytelling, responsible for transforming raw footage into compelling video content for our in-house brands (Un-titled Lab, UNI, Header House) and our diverse client base under Header House. You'll play a vital role in ensuring all our marketing and communication videos are creatively excellent, consistently on-brand, and drive continuous engagement and growth for both our internal ventures and our clients.
1.2 Key Responsibilities
🎥 Content Editing and Production Excellence
- Craft high-quality video content both short and long form that aligns with brand guidelines, campaign objectives, and current market trends.
- Implement efficient editing workflows to achieve optimum reduction in the average video editing time.
- Maintain the highest quality standards across all final video outputs, ensuring clear communication, technical, and aesthetic consistency.
⚙️ Technical & Aesthetic Enhancement
- Execute fundamental Motion Graphics and kinetic typography to elevate the visual appeal and clarity of the video message.
- Apply advanced color-grading techniques, utilizing a strong understanding of color theory to set the correct mood and brand-appropriate tone for each video.
- Perform comprehensive Sound Design & Mixing, including editing audio, balancing levels, and strategically integrating sound effects and music to create a complete and immersive experience.
📁 Asset Management and Trend Tracking
- Develop and manage a systematic Video Asset Library that ensures all video files, motion graphic templates, music, and sound effects are organized, accessible, and easy to search.
- Follow and integrate contemporary and engaging editing trends to keep our content fresh, interesting, and consistently aligned with modern digital communication styles.

Qualifications
Must Have:
- 3+ years of professional experience in video editing, ideally within an agency, media house, or in-house marketing/content team
- Expert proficiency in core editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in editing, color grading, and motion graphics.
- Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently.

- Familiarity with other creative suites or 3D software (e.g., DaVinci Resolve, Cinema 4D, Blender).
- Experience with different video formats, including social media shorts, long-form content, and corporate videos.
